Policy on payments, deposits and cancellation
- We regret that we are unable to accept credit/debit cards at Casa das Oliveiras; we would appreciate it if payment can be made in cash on arrival. Rates include VAT and a receipt will be issued.
- We ask guests to send us a deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night or 10% of the full stay, whichever is the greater. This can be done by bank transfer or cheque, depending on the country of origin. Full details will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed.
- Deposits will be refunded if a reservation is cancelled more than 14 days before the date of arrival. In the event of less notice being given, deposits will only be refunded if we are able to rent out the same room(s) for the same period of time.
- Please note that, once they have checked in, guests are liable for payment for their whole stay and no refund can be given in the event of early departure.
- We recommend that guests have travel insurance to protect them against risks that could affect their travel plans.
